"Who is it?" A pink horse said as a much smaller, orange horse walked in.
"There's some pony new in town!"
"Add them to the numbers." The small horse was handed a piece of paper and a pencil. She held the pencil in between her teeth and began to write the name and address of the new villager on the fibres. The location was very familiar to the pink horse - after all, her bestest friend lived there. She had no idea that some pony else moved into the house as well. "Time for me to draw a number, I think." She picked out a piece of paper from a small box and grinned. "Looks like I'm having good cakes tonight...!"

"Ugh..." Apollo grunted. He couldn't move or see, and he felt like he had a thousand prickly needles wanted to burst through his skin. After a brief shiver fit, he felt normal again. Almost. Something just didn't seem right. His spine felt as if it were longer, and when he put his feet on the ground, they made a harsher sound than they would sound like on broken up gravel.
"Sir? Sir!! Wake up!"
Apollo was being shoved in an attempt to wake him up. After a few more pushes, he snapped.
"STOP IT, IM AWAKE!!" He screeched as he leaped up. When he opened his eyes, a surprised purple horse that had Trucy's cape and hat on! "...what are you doing with my friend's clothes?!"
"None of your business, Chicken-head!" Screeched the blue horse as she ran off.
"I'm sorry, she's never like this," said the purple horse as she followed.
"Wait! HOLD IT!!" When Apollo raised his hand, he saw he didn't even have fingers - he had HOOVES! "What in the..." Suddenly a door opened, someone grabbed him and pulled him in.
"What are you doing?! It's dangerous out there!" Came a voice in the jet black darkness.
"OUCH!!" Cried the attorney as he banged his head on something. He began stumbling around before slipping over. As he did so, someone turned the light on. He saw a lavender coloured horse with a horn, staring at him in shock!
"Mister, you really need to get down from there. You could hurt yourself!"
Apollo then remembered about a strange message he had found that morning that said that someone would come to the agency to pick him up and help them with a problem they had. He wondered if this had anything to do with it. "This might sound stupid... But I got a message from someone saying that they wanted me to he'll then solve a problem. Do you perhaps know anything about it?"
"W-what?! You're the one who got the message?! Thank goodness! I really, RLY need your help!! Ponies all over ponyville are disappearing, one after another. I've been trying to figure it out, but the princess told me to summon 'the second best, talk-o-the-town-and-USA' lawyer to help me. Can you please help?"
"Oh yeah, of COURSE I'd help just any, random horse that just appears out of nowhere!" Apollo said sarcastically. The pony began to take his jacket off. "Wait, no! Get off my clothes!" (Weirdo.) "can you give me it back if I told you my name? It's Apollo Justice."
"You're not freaking out nearly as much as this on person I summoned once... Then again, he was still a human, not a pony, like you... My magic must have messed up while I brought you to this place." Apollo snatched the smart, red and black jacket off of the pony and put it back on.
(Well, I guess this gives me SOMETHING to do.) "I'll try to help, but you send me back afterwards. Deal?"
"...Deal."
"For one thing, we'd better check around--"
"Not at night, Mr Justice! It's when ponies often go missing! I may as well have Spike set up a bed for you. Spike!!" She shouted. A small, purple and green dragon walked down some stairs.
"Who's that pony?" He asked.
"He's Apollo Justice. He's going to help us figure out what's up with ponies disappearing. Tomorrow we're checking up on our friends."
"WE NEVER AGREED ON ANYTHING BUT ME HELPING YOU!!" The attorney screeched as the pony and Spike put their hooves and hands on their ears. "S-sorry. I practice my voice every morning." (Why does no-one enjoy my Chords of Steel?)
"Ahem. Anyway, You should get some sleep. I have to go get something from my friend real quick. Be back soon!" The pony trotted out, leaving Apollo and Spike in the house.
"Who is she, anyway?"
"Geez, Twilight knows how to pick 'em." Spike got a large, thick blanket from under a bed and put it on a spare bed, which already had pillows on.
"Thanks for the bed," thanked the attorney as he climbed onto it. It was a bit too small for him, but he couldn't help if he was taller than other ponies. Especially when he stood on his legs. Despite him being asleep before he woke up here, he was in desperate need of sleep. Maybe it was when he turned into a pony that his energy whizzed away? He couldn't be sure. All he cared about was getting out of that weird place.

"What should I name your cupcakes, Cheerilee?" Asked a pink, depressed pony as she stared at another, plum coloured pony who was stitched up. "Well, your cutie mark is made of happy flowers... I'll call them 'Happy Flower Cupcakes!' Scootaloo, can you draw a number please?"
Scootaloo nodded and picked a pice of paper up. She handed it to the other pony.
"I'll need my butcher's knife..."

Justice woke up in the middle of the night. He looked down from the bedroom to see Spike at a table with a rainbow maned pony and a pink pony with a straight mane. They had a small candle and a board in front of them.
"Sorry you two, I have to go now," said the pink one.
"Who are you?!" Apollo blurted out as he suddenly appeared in the limited moonlight coming from the window, his eyes seemingly sharp as knives.
"RUN FOR IT!!" The rainbow pony shrieked as she blew out the candle and picked up the board. The attorney leaped off the top floor and glared. The pink pony and rainbow pony disappeared out the door, a rainbow trail behind them. Apollo leaned over to go out of the door.
"BURGLARS!!" He screeched. Various lights from nearby houses turned on and he quickly ran back in. Only then did he see a note from Twilight.
'I've gone to Sugarcube Corner, just down the road. Seeing as you were still asleep, I wrote this. Be back later! —Twilight'
"Hey Spike, what does Sugarcube Corner look like?" He asked the staring dragon.
"It looks like a giant cupcake castle," he replied.you can't miss it!"
"Thanks. I'll be right back, Spike." Apollo walked down the stone path with his (now hooves) in his jacket pockets. He wondered if anything had happened to Twilight, and he also wondered what would happen if anyone else saw him like this - a tall, shady figure, taking a casual stroll through the town. He was sure he had read a book about someone like that before. As Apollo looked to his left, he saw a building which matched Spike's limited description. He knocked on the horse door, which was strangely open. "Twilight! Are you here?" Suddenly the pony appeared with tears flowing down her cheeks.
"A-Apollo?" She gasped.
"Are you okay?! You look like you've seen a ghost!!"
"I... I'm fine. Really." As she passed Apollo, he shuddered as he noticed that Twilight had a large cut down her left back leg. (I'm pretty sure that's anything BUT fine. Relatively speaking...) the two went back to the house. Justice was extremely worried about what happened to Twilight.
